Sabrina's Birthday Party

Happy Birthday Sabrina! The whole family went to Sabrina Adam's birthday party today and we had a wonderful time! It was at In the Swing in Waldwick, a perfect place for kids to play. This was the first time Avery really got to enjoy a place like this, so that was fun to watch. Sabrina is the daughter of my sweet and very talented photographer friend Christie Adams.

I realize this picture is horrible quality - blurry, and over-exposed, but I had to post it because it shows exactly how Reagan behaved the whole time. She was having such a great time, running around playing. Although, she wasn't being her usual independent self today which was a little bizarre. Everywhere she went, she kept shouting "Mom!" and making sure I was right there watching her play. She insisted that I get in the ball pit with her and jump in the bouncy part. I kept telling her adults weren't allowed, but she kept on asking me to join her. By the end of the play time, all the moms were laughing because everytime I started up a conversation with one of them, I was interrupted by Reagan, who never stopped demanding my attention.


I dressed Reagan in jeans this morning, then dressed Avery in this dress with tights ... once Reagan saw that her sister was wearing tights and a dress, she insisted that she wear the same. I guess I need to find her some winter dresses and skirts, since all of her dresses are mostly short-sleeved and for the warmer months. [Hint, Hint - to my family members, looking for a good Christmas present idea!!]

It was a fun birthday party, but it was especially fun to get out and do something together as a family. Thanks for having us Christie!
