Ms. Lisa lives one house away from Forcellati Brothers Nursery, which sells Christmas trees. Every year after Thanksgiving, they bring in some animals and create a "stable" scene for people to come see. To be perfectly honest, it's kind of bizarre to me, but I'm not complaining ... it's awesome! Ms. Lisa walks the kids there and invites the parents to join them. Last year, it happened to fall right on Reagan's actual birthday (when she turned 2), so John and I went along. I found the following pictures from last year:
11-27-07 Reagan checking out the miniature horse last year
Reagan and Harrison last year ... they look so young!!
Anyway, this year, John couldn't make it so Avery and I went along with the group. In my opinion, there were much better animals this year: an Alpaca (similar to a llama), two goats, two sheep, a donkey and a cow! I took SOOOO many pictures because I just HAD to capture how much fun Reagan was having! She was certainly in her element and I think the following pictures do a pretty good job of portraying that ...
Walking to the stable
Feeding the sheep
Oh my goodness, this is one of my ALL TIME FAVORITE PICTURES of Reagan!!! I just love her big brown eyes!
Reagan feeding the donkey
Poor Avery was pretty miserable, strapped into the stroller. It was SO cold. I checked my iPhone and it said it was 20 degrees, 15 with the wind chill. It was brutal. Avery kept pulling her gloves off, so her hands were ice cold by the end.
These little goats were so cute!
Is that the cutest face you've ever seen?! This alpaca was a bit shy, so he was the only one that wouldn't really let us pet him. I just loved his big eyes. His face kind of looks like a camel in this picture ... but he also reminds me of my boxer Dawson! (probably just because of his coloring!)
Reagan and her friends, Amelia, Brian, and Juliana
Reagan petting the sheep ... the sheep were the most friendly - they were loving the attention!
This is my second favorite picture - doesn't she look cute?!!
Reagan and Elly
Here's Reagan talking to the animals. She asked several times if we could take them home. When it was time to leave, she simply refused. In fact, Ms. Lisa and the rest of the class left and we stayed behind at least 10 more minutes. Avery was very antsy, so I got her out of the stroller and let her pet the animals too.

I think your 2nd favorite is my 1st favorite. not that the first isn't darling, but I love her look as she is looking to the side - she is a beauty.
