Okay, so I guess I'll share the REAL reason we got a trampoline ... so that Reagan or Avery can one day win Olympic GOLD! Just kidding. Well, maybe not. Of course, what would be better than your daughter being in the Olympics and cheering her on to win a medal? But that's not the reason we got the trampoline. To be honest, I just found out TODAY that there was an Olympic event called Women's Trampoline! Did anyone else know about this? Maybe I'm out of the loop, but I was very surprised to see it.
I just looked up the Trampoline event on the NBC website, and it turns out it started in the 2000 Summer Games. I feel pretty stupid. Anyway, for those of you who have never watched it, check it out - it's very cool! They jump SOOOO high and then go into a routine of incredible flips and lay-outs, etc. It's mesmerizing to watch and I couldn't take my eyes off it!

I too was shocked to see this was on olympic sport, but fully enjoyed watching it.
I actually saw video of it when I was researching to buy my trampoline. It is funny that you put that because as we watched it last night I joked to Brett that our purchase was really to inspire our future olympians!

I saw the trampoline event on tv the other night and was laughing so hard. I could not believe that it was serious. Who knew?!?
