My sweet friends Autumn and Chad Heseltine spent the weekend in Manhattan, showing Autumn's parents and their two sons around the city. They took the red-eye Wednesday night and arrived Thursday morning, then flew home this evening (Sunday) out of Newark. When Autumn made the flight plans, I offered to take her to the airport, since I knew it would be a pain for them to get 4 adults, 2 kids, and all their luggage to the airport inexpensively. John took his Range Rover and I drove his brother's mini van into the city this afternoon and we picked them up at their hotel (the Millenium Hilton, which overlooks Ground Zero downtown).
From the hotel, we went through the Holland Tunnell, over to Hoboken New Jersey to find somewhere to eat lunch. After driving around for a little while, we decided to go somewhere familiar and easy ... we went to Houlihan's in Weehawken and had a nice relaxing lunch!

Dallas - Autumn's 12 year old son who just started 7th grade
I told Reagan to say "cheese" and she did exactly as I instructed! She's getting good at posing for pictures, right? What a sweet picture of Reagan and her Papa :)
Dallas is such a good kid ... I've known him since the year 2000, so he was only about 4 years old. There have been many times that I've seen Autumn when I've come to visit (at an all-girls dinner), but not Dallas. Yet everytime I see him, he says sweet things like, "I've missed you Amanda ... I've been looking forward to seeing you!" He's such a sweetie!
Autumn and Chad got married 6 years ago (I was honored to be one of Autumn's bridesmaids!) and they are a perfect couple! They compliment each other so well and I believe they are both so lucky to have found each other. I was so excited that Autumn and I were pregnant at the same time ... I had Avery on November 2nd and she had Xander on December ... 29th? I'm pretty sure that was the date. Anyway, they are 8 weeks apart in age and they were so cute together.
Avery did the same thing she does to everyone she meets ... pulled his hair and tried to eat his face. I'm sure she meant well, but it scared Xan off a little and made him cry!
My little Avery has turned into the BEST eater! Reagan ordered Mac & Cheese, so I gave some to Avery ... this was the first time she'd ever tried it, but just like every other food I put in front of her, SHE LOVED IT! Doesn't she look like such a big girl in this pic?

I just love this picture! Reagan was having fun playing around in the empty booths with Dallas ... we were in the corner of the restaurant that was completely empty, so we weren't disturbing anyone.
The ladies eating raspberry sorbet!
Everyone had a spoonful of sorbet
Autumn was sitting across the table from Reagan at this point and took my camera to snap this sweet picture. Thanks Autumn!
When we got in the car, Dallas put on Reagan's other pair of shades, which had Reagan laughing pretty hard.
We had some time to spare before their flight out of Newark, so we took them on a quick scenic detour along Boulevard East through West New York (slightly North of Hoboken). This area has such an incredible view of Manhattan.

It was so wonderful to see them and catch up ... thanks for taking the time to hang out with us Autumn and Chad!!!
