Today I took Reagan to a birthday party for her friend Harrison. What a fun party! I know that Reagan had fun, but I had a great time too, socializing with all of the moms. Harry and Reagan went to Ms. Lisa's preschool together all of last year, so it was great to get the old gang together again. I feel so lucky to have met such sweet, genuine mothers who all have wonderful children who Reagan adores.

Reagan has been there twice before (for Joshua and Ethan's birthday parties), but she was a little too young to really enjoy it. Today was perfect ~ not too many kids and she knew almost all of them.
They have 2 young girls work the party, entertaining the kids with activities tied to music. Reagan loved "popping popcorn" with beach balls and a parachute.JP's little sister Caitlyn ~ Diane and Ms. Lisa
After the activities, the kids all ate a slice of pizza for lunch. Then they followed Harry to the front of the place for the ICE CREAM! This place really is adorable ... it's like an old fashioned ice cream parlor with stools and a counter that is just the right size for little ones. Each child got the choice of Chocolate, Vanilla, Strawberry or Cotton Candy flavored ice cream. Reagan had never had strawberry ice cream before, but she insisted on that flavor. I was disappointed that she chose my least favorite kind, since I knew she wouldn't eat much of it and someone (ME) would need to finish it for her ... you know, it would be RUDE to let a bowl of ice cream go to waste at a birthday party!
Each child got to select 2 cups of candy as a topping. Once she had a cup full of Skittles, she never even touched the ice cream. I guess it was a good thing she chose strawberry, since it kept me from finishing it for her.
