How is my baby 6 months old already??? Honestly, time just flies by with the second child. I scheduled her 6 month well visit for yesterday, May 2nd, which meant she was exactly 6 months old. She weighed 16 pounds, 14 ounces, which means she gained 1 pound, 2 ounces in one month. She grew a whole inch in length, measuring 26 inches long.
Once again, Reagan was so excited to go to the Dr.'s office so that she could get stickers. I was really excited to go this time because our pediatrician just moved offices and I was anxious to see the new place. I can't believe I didn't take pictures of the office, because it was beautiful, and most importantly, HUGE! The two doctors in the practice (Dr. Battista and Dr. Czernizer) used to be in such a small space - I think they shared an office, had only 3 exam rooms and a fairly small area for the rest of the staff. The new office has SIX exam rooms! It also has a large front reception area and a big nurses station in the back. I think it will make future visits go much more quickly and smoothly. It's good to see that my co-pay is being used wisely!
She's almost there ... Avery is sitting up on her own rather well. She still falls over, but she's getting better at catching herself with her arms or using her muscles to stay balanced and upright. She also loves her feet right now. She's become a pro at taking off her socks (something Reagan never seemed to do) and she recently got her toes into her mouth ~ what an accomplishment! Avery continues to be the world's happiest baby, much to my delight. My friends often comment on her always-pleasant demeanor. She's truly a joy to have around :)

She's just adorable! It's funny, because Avery is almost exactly Sofia's size. At six months Sofia was 17lbs even and 27 inches. So she's not much smaller. They should have a "thigh off" contest. LOL.
I see she has a new bow too. Did you make that one?
Beautiful pictures of Avery.

It is so fun to see how Reagan is filling out and growing up. You just want to grab those squishy arms, legs, and cheeks don't you?!! Love that.
My boys are always excited to go watch the baby get his shots. Poor kid gets and audience to witness his pain.
