Breakfast with the Easter Bunny

So we got it right this week and Reagan got to see the Easter bunny! (if that doesn't make sense, read last week's post about the Easter bunny). At first, Reagan wanted me to sit with her, but then she allowed me to slide out of the picture. I'm bummed we couldn't get a good picture of the girls smiling, but I guess that's how it goes sometimes.
The Easter egg hunt was outside on the muddy grass and it was quite the adventure! It all happened so fast that I'm not sure Reagan understood what was going on. There weren't very many eggs and there were a lot of kids ... everytime we came close to an egg, someone else snagged it. I was holding Reagan's hand, pulling her as I ran. I think she was so overwhelmed by all the people and the chaos of it all that she stopped moving her feet ... next thing I knew, I was practically dragging her, doing a great job of dirtying her light pink capris! I did manage to direct her to a small pile of 4 eggs, so at least she didn't go home empty handed.

When we got home, I figured I'd try to get a picture of them both smiling in their matching outfits. As you can see by the first picture, Reagan wasn't very excited about this idea. Actually, I took the pink bag out of her hands (the one with her 4 Easter eggs) and she had a meltdown. Girls can be so dramatic!

So while Reagan sat in time-out, I took these 3 pictures of Avery:

Reagan eventually calmed down and I got this picture:

OMG! I love Avery's face while Reagan is freaking out. She's like, are you kidding me? hehe.

Adorable matching outfits!
