... all day long.

Reagan is now 2 years and 3 months old, so it's amazing to hear her language exploding. This is the age where kids say such funny things and I've been anxiously awaiting this stage. She talks in complete sentences now (with a word or two missing, here or there) and has learned how to correctly ask for something, i.e. "May I please have candy?" That's one of her favorite questions right now.

I have no idea where it came from, but a few days ago she started adding the phrase "all day long" to many of her sentences. The way she says it is really cute, it sounds like this: allllllll day yong! She sort of just tacks it on to the end of a sentence, whether it's really appropriate or not. For example, this morning we were in the bathroom getting ready when she noticed her potty seat. Sometimes she just talks and talks, giving a commentary of the items in a room. This morning's commentary went something like this: "There's Reagan's potty seat. Potty seat goes on toilet. I use potty seat allll day yong. There's Mama's purse. No touch Mama's purse, that's not nice, alllll day yong." I love hearing her talk ... except right now, since she's supposed to be taking a nap and she's been talking to herself for over an hour in her crib! Sure enough, I've heard the phrase "all day long" many times while listening to the monitor. :)

Wow.. I am so glad you have this written down. That is really cute phrase and something that you would hope to never forget, but sometimes you do... she sounds like she has a really sweet personality.
