Aloha!

Last night, I put some pajamas on Reagan and she said, "it says Noloha." I was so confused, since there were no words on the pajamas and I had no idea what "Noloha" meant. It finally occurred to me that she was referring to the other set of pajamas I had gotten her from Old Navy that had "Aloha" written across the shirt. Over a week ago, I told her it said "Aloha" which meant "hello" in Hawaii. I then said that her Mama and Papa got married in Hawaii.

Tonight, I dressed her in the "Aloha" pajamas after her bath, and here's how our conversation went:

ME: Reagan, what do your pajamas say?

REAGAN: Noloha

ME: Close, but they say Aloha

REAGAN: Aloha

ME: Do you remember what Aloha means?

REAGAN: It means get married

I guess you could say it "got lost in translation."
