Reagan's Last Day of Preschool

Thursday, June 12th was officially Reagan's last day of preschool. It was bitter/sweet. I am so proud of Reagan's growth since September, but I also don't understand where the last year went! It went by so quickly. As I've said in a previous post, Ms. Lisa's preschool prep was the best thing we ever did for Reagan. She has learned so many things from Ms. Lisa and her other classmates. I don't mean to brag (but if I can't brag on my own blog, where else can I??), Reagan knows all her letters, how to spell her name, she can count all the days of the month (with help on the higher numbers), and she knows all her colors and shapes. She's got wonderful fine motor skills which allow her to cut with scissors, peel paper off the backs of stickers, and use paint brushes, crayons, markers, etc. It's so much fun to see the growth and improvement from the beginning of the year to the end of the year.

I wanted to get something nice for Ms. Lisa, but couldn't think of anything very special so my neighbor Lizzie recommended I get her a rose bush. Reagan and I gave it to her on Thursday so she can plant it in her garden and always remember Reagan.

We are looking forward to September when Reagan will get to go back to Ms. Lisa's house for preschool again. Until then, we'll have to arrange some playdates with some of the friends she made this year. One of their last projects was to paint a wooden picture frame and glue seashells all over it. Then Ms. Lisa put a picture of the class in the frame. Reagan went every Tuesday and Wednesday this year, then added a Thursday class for the last semester (end of March until first of June). Here is her Tuesday/Wednesday class:

JP, Amanda, Harry, Eddie and Reagan
Don't you love the face expressions? I give Ms. Lisa credit for getting all 5 kids to look at the camera at the same time (I scanned this picture). I haven't met very many "Amandas" so I thought it was pretty funny that the only other girl in her class was named Amanda.

Here was her Thursday class:
Katelyn, Reagan, Jessica, and Elli

It is so hard to see the little ones grow up so fast! You are so right about it being bitter sweet. Reagan and Avery are adorable. You do such a good job with your blog posts, and you also look amazing as usual! Thank you for your comment on my blog. I prefer the term blog "surfing" over "stalking". It doesn't make me feel as pathetic! Ha!!!
