Reagan went for her two and a half year check up ("Well Visit" is the proper term for those of us who speak the current parent language) with Dr. Czernizer on Wednesday (June 11th). Earlier that morning,we'd gone to a playdate where I took lots of pictures with my camera ... when we got to the doctor's office, I realized I had left my camera in the bag in the car, so I had to use my iPhone. As I've said before, I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE my iPhone for so many reasons, although its picture taking ability is not one of them. It's a decent camera if the subject of my photo is standing perfectly still. But when I try to take pictures of my constantly moving children, they usually come out blurry. Reagan wasn't too sure about hopping onto the "big girl" scale, so it took a few tries before she stayed on it long enough for us to register an acceptable weight reading. She weighed in at a whopping 28 pounds! This may sound on the low side, but it's just barely below average, in the 45th percentile. The doctor wasn't the least bit concerned about her or her weight.
Avery did not have an appointment, but as we were waiting for the doctor to come in, I couldn't help but put her on the scale ... I was dying to know how much she weighed! As you can see in the picture, she was 19 pounds :) It's pretty funny that Reagan only weighs 9 pounds more than Avery! At this rate, Avery's going to catch up to Reagan by the time she turns one year old! Avery was thoroughly enjoying the paper on the table and the sound it made when she crumpled it in her hand.

I took the boys to an appointment this last week, Isaac (3) weighs 34 pounds, Adam (1 1/2) weighs 31.4 pounds. I either need to feed Isaac more or Adam a whole lot less.
I guess if I would have read this before I sent you the email it would have answered me questions about the car seats. When Avery has clothes on she weighs the same as Samantha at her appt on Thursday. I can't wait to see the two of them together.
