Reagan's First Haircut

Reagan's first haircut took place on January 8th, 2008 (over a month after her 2nd birthday). I wasn't all that happy with how the pictures and video turned out, since Reagan was rather expressionless and she never took the lollipop out of her mouth. But then John sent me an email, asking "isn't a first haircut blog-worthy?" and I reconsidered. I sometimes need to be reminded that even though I'm not happy with how a picture comes out, it doesn't take away from the importance of an event. My poor family often gets annoyed by my quest for the perfect picture ... I have to remember that pictures are meant to preserve a moment in time; so if I happen to capture someone having a 'bad hair day,' it really shouldn't matter. :)
