The Martha Stewart Show!

As most of you know, I attended the live taping of the Martha Stewart Show back in November with Jen. As you can see by that previous post, it was an incredible show and overall FUN experience! So when Michele contacted me again to go in February, I was all over it. I invited all my friends and we were set to go on Wednesday, February 11th. Of course, that ended up being the day of Nila's viewing, so I was unable to go. My friends all went without me and talked to the contact person about getting their groups on the list for future shows. Diane put her Harrington Park First Friends group on the list and Nicole put our TPG "Hot Mamas" group on there as well. Diane's group was given seats to the Tuesday, March 3rd show and Nicole's group was given tickets to the next day's show, Wednesday March 4th. I signed up with Diane's group for the afternoon taping, but then John had to go into the city and couldn't watch the girls for me ... luckily, I was able to take an open spot in Nicole's group and so I went on Wednesday morning :)We woke up bright and early so we could make the 6:59 AM train out of Westwood into Penn Station. Nicole, her mother Robin (who was in town from Florida) and I boarded in Westwood, then Corey boarded the train on the next stop in Emerson. It was a nice, relaxing ride into the city on the train :)

Once we got into the show, we were pleasantly surprised to be seated in the center section, on the front row! From left to right, here's Maria, Amelia, Amanda, Corey, and the back of Jen's head.

Here's Nicole and her mother Robin, right after the show.

It was a nice show with Marcia Gay Harden as the guest who helped Martha with the craft, then a woman who talked about Stem Cell Research, then the owner of an authentic German sausage store in Manhattan who sells every kind of "wurst" you can think of! It was fun and we all left with a free T-shirt from the NY Stem Cell Foundation. It wasn't nearly as great as the last time I went, but then how could they top a free Espresso maker???!!

After the show, Corey and I had time to sit down and have lunch in the city, before making our way back home on the train. What a nice trip into the city!
