Dinner at Sara and Steve's

Tonight was a great night in Brooklyn with my cousin Sara and her husband Steven. We ALWAYS have a wonderful time with them and although we make an honest effort to get together often, it's certainly not often enough.

Sara is incredibly talented when it comes to music. She has the most beautiful voice and she's excellent on the piano. The girls have so much fun playing with the piano, as well as dancing and singing along with Sara.

They have a charming apartment in Brooklyn Heights ~ it's so cozy and inviting!

Steven loves to cook and he's very good at it. Tonight he made Chicken Picatta (chicken with capers in a white wine butter sauce) and brown rice. Sara made a spinach salad and the entire meal was delicious!

After dinner it was music time! I didn't realize Steven played the guitar, but he was really good at it. He was nice enough to let Reagan play it and he helped her figure it out.

This picture cracks me up - see Reagan's face? She was upset that Steve took the guitar back!
And then she was happy to get it back :)
