My friend Kerry has invited us over for dinner so many times that I can't even count ... John and I are horrible at entertaining, so we just don't do it as often as we should. We're hoping to change that this year and have more friends and family over for fun family nights ... as long as everyone can ignore the 3 dogs and excuse the mess!
Kerry, Paul and their 2 daughters came over tonight and we had a nice, relaxing evening together. I cooked a really yummy pot roast (my favorite, delicious recipe from Nicole), along with some buttered potatoes and an arugula salad.
Kara, Reagan, Jenna, and Avery
Yes, Kara and Jenna were good girls and ate what we were having ... Reagan ate chicken nuggets.
I was blown away when I went into the toy room and discovered that Kara had cleaned the entire room! What a good little girl!!
While Kara was cleaning the room, Jenna was reading Reagan a book. Honestly, I love it when these girls are around ~ it's like hiring a babysitter so the adults can hang out!
