A Friday afternoon photo shoot ...

I took a few pictures of my girls this afternoon, just for the fun of it. Once I had Avery dressed this morning, I realized I had dressed her in 4 different items from 4 different people! One of my favorite new additions to her wardrobe are these adorable Robeez booties, courtesy of Jen Wilkin. Aren't they cute? These are great soft-soled shoes for her to wear right now, since she's learning to walk. THANKS Jen!

Here's Avery taking a peek into the Gap bag, checking out her new Christmas dress! Don't worry, you'll see them soon enough ~ the girls are going to look SO beautiful in their holiday dresses!
The shirt came from John's cousin Maribel (matching pants are still a little too big, but the shirt fits perfectly!), the vest came from my sister Camille, and the jeans came from my next-door-neighbor Lizzie. Thank you to everyone for dressing my sweet little girl so she doesn't have to spend her entire life wearing Reagan's hand-me-downs!
I thought Reagan looked so cute in this color of green today and she looked all grown-up in this style of sweater. I snapped this picture in the toy room, then chased her into the dining room for more shots.
She might look like she's posing, but she was actually giving me attitude, trying to ignore me.

Then I turned my flash off and tried to use some natural light ... it was difficult to get a good shot of her, since she kept moving and making each picture blurry. Man, I'm dying for an SLR camera so I can play with shutter speeds, apertures, and ISOs!! My point-and-shoot just isn't cuttin' it!
Believe it or not, she got into this position all by herself - no coaching from me. I guess she's becoming a natural at "posing" for my camera :)

I love my beautiful girls!!! I hope everyone has a wonderful weekend!

What great pictures. I'm glad the vest fits her okay. Reagan does look great in green and I love those little boots.
