John was on the couch and the girls were both sitting on the love seat together this afternoon, all watching a movie. The love seat is to the side and slightly behind John ... all it took was a few minutes of John not paying attention and when he turned, he saw this!
Can you believe Reagan colored her whole foot blue?

John's cousin Nereyda was in town from Florida, so she came over to visit ... I found it rather ironic that the girls chose to color themselves in markers for the first time on the evening we were having a visitor, someone who we see once a year! Oh well ~ I actually thought it was quite funny. John was rather upset about it when it first happened ... when I called him on my way home from work, he was worked up about it, since he felt that Reagan knew better. I was anxious to get home and snap pictures of it!!
I couldn't believe how BLUE the water in the tub got! I tried taking pictures of it, but it was difficult to get a good picture that showed the true color of the water while not exposing any body parts of my girls!
Reagan and Avery hate it when I wash their hair, so I've made a game out of it: I massage the shampoo into their hair until there are lots of thick, white suds. Then I form a fist, sort of like I'm holding an ice cream cone. Then I put a big blob of bubbles/suds on top of my fist and pretend I'm licking a vanilla ice cream cone. It's so silly, but Reagan thinks it's fun and now Avery loves to do it too. I was worried Avery would actually eat the bubbles, but she's always been great at just pretending to lick the bubbles. May seem like a silly story to blog about, but I'm sure I'll read this 10 years from now and think, "Oh yeah, I'd forgotten we used to do that!"

Oh my! Markers are so fun! :) I love the story about the bubbles...not a funny thing to blog about at all! I love hearing it. And what a great idea. My kids like everything about the bath, Except getting clean! :0
love the story about the bubbles and those markers...I know not funny at the time but something to laugh about later :)
